med. Peter Wehling (born 1955) engages himself as founder in the
management of the Foundation for Molecular Medicine. The orthopaedic
surgeon learned about the molecular medicine through a research
fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. There he also got in contact
with the internationally well-known molecular biologist Chris Evans from
the Harvard University. In 1991 Wehling habilitated with a work on
“Pain” at the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf.
